7 Easy Ways to Make Your Hair Grow Faster

Women have always considered hair as their first love. Beautiful and long hair are a sign of well-balanced diet and reflect good health. Lack of hair care can result in breakage, split ends, thus, making hair grow at slower rate.

Hair is one of the most attractive part of our beauty. Hair needs nutrition, utmost care and attention regularly as any other body part of ours. They can get damaged and growth might be hampered using extreme heating methods, pollution, highlighting and harsh hair styles.

Here are few easy ways to make your hair grow faster, shinier and stronger. 

Trimming is breathing 

Believe it or not, Scissors are your well wisher. Trimming hair every 10-12 weeks make your hair healthier, stronger and gives a fuller look. 

Hair trimming does a magic in the zone of retaining hair length as well. 

Benefits of a hair trim/hair cut:

  1. Healthier hair – Trimming works as if giving adequate amount of breathing and love to your hair. 
  2. Retaining length – When hair are trimmed from time to time, split ends and breakage is prevented. Thus, it helps in retaining length to hair. 
  3. Fuller look – Trimming and cutting hair makes you feel confident and good about yourself. It gives you a fuller and complete look. 
  4. Prevents breakage and split ends – Giving a cut, may be once in three months, prevents hair breakage and split ends. 

Oil them up!

We all have been taught since childhood that oiling is essential and righteous for our hair. Our mothers would do anything to convince us that we must oil our hair at least twice a week. We must and we should.

Oiling hair has numerous benefits such as it prevents dandruff, detangling, deep conditioning, prevents hair from pollution and sun damage. But above all, several oils help in fostering the hair growth.

Coconut oil, Castor oil and Olive oil are the most prevalent and suggested oils for hair growth.

Pick any oil which helps in faster hair growth and suits your hair and scalp. Apply the oil from the hair roots to the length of your hair and massage all over the scalp with fingers in circular motion, gently. Do this at least twice a week for better and a quick result.

Hair Conditioning can make a change

We know shampoos remove dirt from hair but they also scrape off essential nutrients from the scalp. A good hair conditioner is one which helps in replenishing those nutrients and thus gives strength and texture to hair.

Conditioning your hair can make you reach your hair goals quicker and easier. Conditioners moisturizes the hair follicles and prevents breakage which does in fact leads to hair growth.

Choose a best conditioner for your hair and use it before or after shampooing, depending on the conditioner being used.

You do not need to rush to the market to buy those expensive conditioners filled up with chemicals. Just hop into your kitchen to find ingredients present there can as well provide you with an excellent conditioner. 

Take one egg in a bowl and add one tablespoon of baby oil.Mix it well and gently work the mixture through your hair and leave it on for about 10-20 minutes. Wash it off with a mild shampoo.

Finish shower with a cool rinse

 This might seems crazy and astonishing but this indeed is. Try to take cold water shower every time but, if you sometimes prefer hot water than a cold water shower, you better end it up with a cool rinse. Let’s explain why. 

Hot water has the propensity to dry out the scalp which in turns leads to dandruff and weak hair. A cool rinse wipes away the inadequacy of hot water bathe. Cold water tightens hair pores and cuticles which not only terminate the entry of dirt into your hair but also strengthens, provides more shine and helps in stimulating the growth of your hair.

Add Aloe Vera to your friend circle

Aloe Vera helps form a film on the surface of the hair as smoothen the hair cuticles, the pectin and sugar molecules in Aloe Vera provide moisture to the hair, the amino acids and proteins aid in strengthening the cortex of damaged hair.

Here is a homemade treatment using Aloe Vera gel to own the hair goals-

  • Take 3 tablespoons of Aloe Vera gel.
  • Add one and a half tablespoon of coconut oil and add 3 tablespoons of yogurt in a bowl.
  • Mix the ingredients well. Apply this mixture to the hair and leave it as it is for about half an hour.
  • Wash your hair with a mild shampoo.
  • Relish smooth hair

  • Take an egg and break it into a clean bowl.

  • Whisk the ingredients properly.

How to apply:

  • Apply this mixture properly on your scalp and hair.
  • Leave the mask on for about half an hour.
  • Rinse it off with cold water and a mild shampoo.
